2016

 

JAMIE OLIVER

Pecora Dairy worked in partnership with Tourism Australia in 2016 during Jamie Oliver's visit to Australia. Researching for his restaurants, Jamie's Italian, Jamie came to Pecora Dairy to gain a greater understanding of the Australian Dairy Industry, it's challenges and future.

 

LONG TABLE LUNCH

During May 2016 the farm was the setting for a long table lunch in the paddock, attended by Sydney's best chefs and cooked by James Viles of Biota. In alignment with James' philosophy of cooking and his deep respect for his environment and the animals produced within it, James chose to cook several whole Pecora Dairy ram lambs over coals.  

 
 

 

2017

 

RENE REDZEPI

During 2017, Danish chef and World Restaurant of the Year Winner, Rene Redzepi of Noma, toured the country to find farmers growing and creating produce which was the very essence of Australia. He chose to come to Pecora Dairy, as our cheeses are the very embodiment of their ecosystem. The unique microflora within our cheese, created with milk from a single place, was in complete synchronicity with Rene's philosophy for his pop-up restaurant in Sydney, Australia. 

Parliament House

Parliament House, Canberra, budget night dinner 2017 was a celebration of the very best of NSW's produce. Pecora Dairy yoghurt was featured in the dessert, representing the local dairy industry and it's ability to change and innovate.



 
 
 

DELICIOUS PRODUCT AWARDS

Pecora Dairy won, in 2017 the Inaugural Alla Wolf Tasker Scholarship through the Delicious Produce Awards, allowing Michael and Cressida to travel to France and study under the tutelage of The Academie Opus Caseus. Particularly in the study of raw milk cheese.

BIOTA

Pecora Dairy has an ongoing relationship with James Viles of Biota whereby we are his only lamb producer. James uses our ram lambs in his restaurant throughout the seasons. As our supply of ram lambs end, so too does the use of lamb in the restaurant until the following lambing season.

DELICIOUS PRODUCE AWARDS

Yarrawa became a gold medal winner at the 2018 Delicious Produce Awards and was selected to be on the menu for the awards ceremony night.
